Senior Manager/Manager Human Resources

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's objectives and culture.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate selection, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain and update HR policies in line with current regulations and best practices in Malaysia.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems, employee development plans, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and regulations, including employee benefits and health and safety standards.
  • Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering an equitable and productive work environment.
  • Advise senior management on organizational development and employee engagement strategies.
  • Handle employee grievances and mediate workplace disputes, promoting a harmonious work environment.
  • Prepare and manage the HR budget, including forecasting and reporting.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HR management, preferably in Malaysia.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian employment laws and regulations.
  • Preferably from a Manufacturing background.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
