Retail Trainer

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute orientation programs for sales teams.
  • Conduct onboarding training sessions for new hires.
  • Act as a consultant to salespeople for challenges they face on the job.
  • Assign mentors and coaches to new sales team members.
  • Observe interactions between salespeople and clients to identify areas for improvement.
  • Determine training needs for individuals and teams.
  • Organize role-playing activities to simulate difficult client scenarios.
  • Advise salespeople on upselling products and services.
  • Apply various sales training techniques (e.g., gamification, case studies, group activities).
  • Maintain updated records of training curriculum and materials.

Requirements and Skills:

  • BSc degree in Human Resources, or a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years work experience as a Retail Trainer, Sales Trainer, or similar role.
  • Availability to travel and visit retail stores as needed.
  • Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and e-learning platforms.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales quotas.
  • Additional certification in training is a plus.
