IR & ER Manager

Job description

  • Employee Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts.
  • Industrial Relations: Manage relationships with trade unions, negotiate collective bargaining agreements, and handle industrial disputes.
  • Policy Development: Create and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal standards and support company goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all relevant labor laws and regulations, including health and safety standards.
  • Grievance Management: Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions on employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance issues.
  • Negotiations: Participate in negotiations with unions or employee representatives, if applicable.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in employee relations or HR management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
