Vision Development Engineer

My client is a leading provider of advanced semiconductor equipment solutions. They are currently looking for a Senior Vision Development Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Lead the design and development of machine vision systems, including hardware and software components.
• Algorithm Development: Develop and optimize image processing algorithms for defect detection, pattern recognition, and quality control.
• System Integration: Integrate vision systems with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, ensuring seamless operation and high reliability.
• Project Management: Manage vision system projects from concept to deployment, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of vision systems to ensure performance and accuracy.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine vision technology and implement improvements to existing systems.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Degree in Engineering or Science in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Computer/ Optical/ Photonics with second upper class or above.
• Fresh graduate with good academic results are encouraged to apply.
• Well versed in Visual C++, Visual C#, VB.NET programming language.
• Strong in software programming, optical inspection & image processing.
• Experience in using vision library e.g. Halcon, Euresys.
• At least 3 years of working experience in machine vision field is an added advantage.
• Good semiconductor process knowledge or IR technology is an added advantage.
• Good project management skills.
