Test Operations Manager

Our client is a rapidly expanding semiconductor company in Selangor. They are currently seeking to hire a Test Operations Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the GM, this Test Operations Manager will be responsible for driving productivity and excellence across the four key areas:
• Planning:
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve operational objectives and meet production targets.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure the smooth integration of planning activities.
• Monitor and adjust plans to accommodate changes in demand and capacity.
• Production:
• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Implement best practices in production management to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engineering:
• Lead engineering teams in developing and optimizing testing and burn-in processes.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
• Ensure the implementation of advanced technologies and methodologies to enhance operational capabilities.
• Maintenance:
• Manage maintenance activities to keep all equipment and facilities in optimal condition.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Ensure quick response and resolution of maintenance issues to minimize production impact.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the semiconductor industry, with a strong background in probing and final test/backend test processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
