Test Development Engineer

Our client is a semiconductor manufacturing company with a worldwide footprint. Due to rapid expansion, they are now seeking to hire a Test Development Engineer.


Key Responsibilities:

• Test Program Development:
• Design, develop, and optimize test programs for various semiconductor devices, ensuring accurate performance and adherence to customer specifications.
• Collaborate with design, product, and test engineering teams to understand device testing requirements and develop tailored test solutions.
• Implement and validate new test methodologies and procedures to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Test Program Conversion:
• Convert and adapt existing test programs to different platforms or test equipment to ensure compatibility and performance optimization.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute seamless test program migration between different test systems.
• Data Analysis & Troubleshooting:
• Analyze test results and performance data to identify issues, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Debug and troubleshoot any test-related problems, working towards implementing corrective measures in a timely manner.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test program accuracy, reduce test time, and optimize operational performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in semiconductor testing.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare detailed documentation of test plans, procedures, and results.
• Provide clear and concise reports to management and customers on test outcomes, performance metrics, and issues encountered.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in semiconductor testing, specifically in developing and converting test programs.
• Proficiency with semiconductor test systems and software platforms (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest, etc.).
• Solid understanding of semiconductor device physics and testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with test program conversion across multiple test platforms.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++) for test automation and optimization
