Technical Sales Manager

Job description

Our client is a rapidly expanding semiconductor MNC in Selangor. Due to rapid expansion, they are seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager with experience in Assembly Process Engineering.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and pipeline targets.
  • Manage key account sales activities.
  • Establish sales objectives (revenue, pipeline, growth, etc.).
  • Develop field sales action plans.
  • Handle customer commercial requirements and NDAs.
  • Support RFP submissions.
  • Lead buyback discussions.
  • Respond to customer sales, logistics, and technical inquiries.
  • Interface between the customer and senior management.
  • Monitor and report on customer business and market developments.
  • Conduct customer review meetings and prepare presentations.
  • Present commercial and technical information at all hierarchical levels.
  • Stay updated on customer roadmaps and keep the factory informed with the help of technical sales support.
  • Maintain the company's presence at technical seminars and roadshows.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
  • Manage existing accounts and develop new business.
  • Contribute to the company's aggressive 5-year vision to reach a billion-dollar target.
  • Develop business relationships and align factory portfolios with the company roadmap.
  • Aim to double the business size.
  • Job demands:
    • Travel may be required to meet customer demands. Close liaison with factories in Malaysia and other overseas sales offices is crucial.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Background: Experience in semiconductor packaging and package design or final test is an advantage.
  • Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent and related working experience (from Semiconductor Assembly & Test).
