Technical Lead, Core Banking (BWCIF / Deposits)
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Manage project delivery, including planning technical deliverables (system enhancements and upgrades) to meet project requirements within the allocated budget.
- Coordinate across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution.
- Monitor and manage risks/issues related to technical delivery.
- Provide status updates related to technical delivery.
- Report to the Program and/or Project Manager for strategic programs.
- Collaborate with Functional Business Analysts, System Analysts, and subject matter experts to understand and implement functional and technical requirements.
- Provide systems input during the specification phase (e.g., effort estimates, high-level delivery plan) based on impact assessment.
- Work with Domain Architects, Development Managers, and Security Architects to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.
- Partner with Development Managers to manage application teams in building enhancements.
- Collaborate with Test Managers to ensure completion of SIT, UAT, performance/load testing, and application security testing with quality results.
- Work with the IT Security team to facilitate completion of penetration testing and remediation of findings in accordance with the Mitigation Plan.
- Prepare technical implementation plans across application teams.
- Coordinate technical implementation activities across application teams to ensure production cutover and adequate post-implementation support.
Qualifications:
- At least 9 years of experience in relevant Banking / Information Technology.
- Knowledge of IBM AS400 platform, RPG, CL, and COBOL programming, and ALDON.
- Good understanding and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
- Familiarity with Silverlake's banking software suite.
- Bachelor's Degree in related Information Technology disciplines; additional professional/technical qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
