Senior Solution Architect (Pre Sales)

Job description

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, cloud and solution design
  • Degree/Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • Relevant cloud certifications is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities/Accountailities

  • Support Head of Cloud Practice in the design of cloud strategy and portfolio development
  • Build trusted relationships with key customer technical decision makers and enterprise architects, understand customers' technology challenges, issues and critical needs
  • Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and our current/ future capabilities
  • Based on customers' requirements, develop tailored solution that addresses their pain points and satisfy their needs - addressing technology challenges and increasing business impact, innovation and agility
  • Lead development of proposals including - solution design, commercial construct, pricing and clear business value & ROI to the customers
  • Translate business needs and requirements and articulate into technical solutions to the technical teams
  • Collaborate with other Line of Business within TechCo and strategic partners to deliver solutions and ensure operational handover while ensuring business requirements specifications are met
  • Gather and collate vital end-customer insights that can be distilled to formulate the TechCo's business strategies moving forward.

Preferred skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms - Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Experience in pre-sales for Cloud solutions and IOT solutions
  • Proven track record of designing enterprise-scale cloud solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
  • Knowledge of cloud economics and business value modelling
  • Understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Experience in product development, solution pricing and commercial models
