R&D Specialist - Food & Beverage Industry

We are a leading company in the food and beverage industry, renowned for our extensive portfolio of well-loved brands. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Research & Development Specialist to join our team and contribute to the innovation and quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance products within the bakery categories.
• Evaluate and source new raw materials to support cost optimization and product improvement initiatives.
• Prepare product formulations and manufacturing instructions.
• Maintain FCCS-standard documentation for research and development processes.
• Ensure raw material specifications and halal certifications comply with legal regulations.
• Oversee new product trials and manage packaging declarations.
• Support internal and external audits, including OEM, ODM, and in-house projects.
• Ensure compliance with packaging labeling requirements and regulatory declarations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Preferably R&D experience in bakery or a related industry.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and eager to learn.
• Willing to work in Rawang and must have own transportation.
