Senior Operations Engineer

Our client is a growing packaging manufacturer and they are currently looking for a Senior Operations Engineer to join their team in Klang.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage daily operations to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
• Oversee the maintenance and optimization of manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the operations team.
• Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations engineering.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of packaging manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with operations management software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
