Senior Java Stack Developer

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • System Development: Design, develop, and maintain various components of retail systems.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for the design, development, and deployment of applications, including data models, data flow, features, and integration mechanisms.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with technology leads, business analysts, and various stakeholders to ensure excellent project execution and influence decision-making.
  • Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and advance their careers.
  • Support: Drive the maintenance phase, including L3 support activities, to ensure that the application delivers value to various stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • Java Expertise: Proficient in Java technology including Java/J2EE/Spring Boot, with expertise in AngularJS, or any other front end framework, MSSQL, SSIS.
  • Database Knowledge: Good working knowledge of document, relational, and time-series databases (e.g., Mongo, MySQL, SQL Server, Influx).
  • SOA Experience: Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture including SOAP and/or REST-based services.
  • Messaging Techniques: Experience with pub/sub and/or consumer/producer techniques like Kafka.
  • Development Tools: Working knowledge of software development and automation tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Chef, Python, etc.).
  • Containerization: Experience working in containerized cloud-native projects like Kubernetes or Docker.
  • Cloud Solutions: Experience architecting/operating solutions built on Microsoft Azure (Blob Storage, SQL managed services, AKS, etc.).
