Senior Construction Project Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver major capital construction projects ($100M+) to attract new clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (customers, operations, finance).
• Guide project teams through all phases, including scope, resources, cost estimates, schedules, quality control, and risk management.
• Oversee contractors, testing agencies, and project control teams to ensure timely, budget-compliant task completion.
• Act as primary liaison with Design Managers for coordination of architecture and engineering.
• Integrate subject matter experts and stakeholders to support design and construction.
• Assist design teams with environmental and permitting requirements.
• Provide guidance to project teams; maintain communication through reports and meetings.
• Develop strategic sourcing plans for contractors and specialty vendors.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure documentation meets company standards.
• Report on project status, variances, and implement change management processes.
• Assess change requests for impacts on scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
• Optimize budget utilization and implement value engineering in the design process.
• Manage project financial controls, pay applications, and claims.
• Validate drawings/specifications to ensure construction quality and remediation.
• Ensure field installations comply with design specifications.
• Monitor and implement safety standards throughout the project.
• Confirm contractors and suppliers adhere to safety best practices.
• Manage risk and insurance controls for projects.
• Lead monthly construction management meetings.
• Present project summaries and status updates to senior leadership.
• Support sales and marketing efforts by showcasing company values to potential clients.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, construction management, or relevant field.
• Experience: 15+ years in construction project management, with 10+ years in data center or similar facilities.
• Proven experience managing projects over $100M.
• Experience in urban construction environments with complex logistics.
• Knowledge of capital budget management and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
• Proficient in Primavera, MS Project, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of LEAN construction principles.
• Building environment certifications (e.g., LEED, WELL).
• Leadership experience in mechanical and electrical systems for mission-critical facilities.
• Background in mission-critical infrastructure and data center construction.
• Multi-project experience in large-scale construction management.
• Proficiency in English and Thai (written and verbal) is a must.
