Risk Manager (Critical Facilities)

Objective:

Lead the proactive and agile management of significant risks that could impact the company's operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee the upkeep and continuous enhancement of the company's Risk Management System and related documentation.
• Key goals of the Risk Management System:
  • Ensure proactive risk management in line with ISO 31000 and all relevant laws, regulations, and client requirements, including participation in audits.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve instructional documents (e.g., Risk Management Guidelines).
  • Manage the risk register, provide transparency to risk and mitigation owners, and ensure regular risk reviews.
  • Assist the Senior Risk Manager with regular risk reporting and coordination of risk committees.
  • Ensure all data centers have a standardized Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessment (TVRA) reviewed annually.
  • Prepare risk analyses and the Annual Risk Report regularly and as needed.
  • Implement and maintain the Risk Report for clients and business partners.
  • Collaborate with property insurance for on-site risk assessments and follow-up actions.
  • Raise awareness for Crisis Management & Business Continuity Management (CM & BCM) through staff training.
• Foster and expand positive relationships with all data center sites and other departments.
• Monitor new risk developments actively.
• Drive the standardization of risk tools within the company.
• Contribute to management reports on risk management topics.
• Support business departments and client management with risk management queries.
• Promote a holistic understanding of resilience, leveraging synergies between Risk Management, Insurance Management, Travel Security, and CM & BCM.
• Ensure alignment of Risk Management with the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Coordinate and initiate resilience measures in collaboration with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management and Security Management departments.
• Support the Senior Risk Manager and contribute to a positive team culture.

Requirements:

Professional Skills:

• Strong understanding of Risk Management and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 31000).
• Several years of professional experience in Risk Management.
• University degree (Graduate/Master/Diploma) or equivalent professional experience.
• Additional relevant professional training/qualifications are desirable.
• Fluent in English; multilingual skills are an advantage.
