Regional Sales Manager

Job description

Our client is a global specialty generic pharmaceutical business and is looking for a Regional Sales Manager, where you will be responsible for building and growing a high-performing team for an innovative drug division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing monthly and yearly sales plans and strategies to increase market penetration across various territories.
  • Recruiting, developing, and managing sales representatives and specialists with clearly communicated sales and performance objectives.
  • Building a strong customer base by counseling sales representatives, maintaining a strong rapport with key clients and stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Preparing monthly budgets, forecasts and reports, and conducting regular business and performance reviews.
  • Ensuring compliances with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Identifying areas of improvement by leveraging on market analysis, consumer trends, and competitor activity.
  • Achieving and exceeding the region's monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, business objectives, and market expansion goals.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Pharmacy, Biology or other relevant fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Biologics and sales management in multinational pharmaceutical company is required.
  • Proven track record of success in private hospital coverage and market expansion.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Self-driven and result-oriented.
  • Willing to travel.
