Regional Fulfilment & Logistics Manager, SEA

Job description

The world's leading medical devices manufacturer is looking for a Regional Fulfilment & Logistics Manager, SEA to lead and manage all daily fulfilment task operations, including logistics & warehousing activities, 3PL/4PL management, import custom clearances and distributors' performance monitoring. This position directly reports to the Regional Head of Fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing daily task operations, logistic & warehousing activity, import custom clearance and monitor distributor performance and KPI monitoring
  • Supporting commercial needs, identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives, managing logistics, warehousing activities, import customs clearance, and monitoring distributor performance
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives that maximise cost saving and operation efficiencies
  • Monitoring and improving key supply chain metrics, including quality, inventory management, customer satisfaction, and cost/profit margins
  • Reviewing corrective actions and ensuring compliance on the outcome of customer complaints investigation
  • Handling all import and export coordination with the 3PL/4PL service providers
  • Coordinating with carriers, forwarders and distributors for import containers
  • Preparing annual budget, quarterly forecasting and monthly cost variance reports

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or related field of study
  • Minimum ten years of order fulfilment and logistics management experience, preferably within the medical devices manufacturing industry
  • Extensive experience within fulfilment order processing, logistic, transport, warehousing and import & export operations
  • Prior experience in handling a regional portfolio is ideal
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is highly desirable
  • Proficient in multiple supply chain ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and interfaces
  • Strong knowledge of inventory, planning systems and order/purchasing systems
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, management and collaborative skills
  • A strong team player with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a matrix environment
  • Ability to look at situations from several points of view and create tools that help simplify job tasks
