Quality Assurance Engineer

Our client is a rapidly expanding semiconductor MNC in Selangor. They are currrently seeking to hire a Quality Assurance Engineer.


Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, leading root cause analysis discussions and 8D meetings to resolve problems.
• Develop, review, and implement quality assurance standards, processes, and procedures.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor product testing and inspections to ensure finished goods meet quality standards.
• Review and improve the efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
• Collect and analyze statistical quality data to identify improvement areas in the quality system.
• Prepare detailed reports to communicate the outcomes of quality activities to stakeholders.
• Support external audits, evaluate findings, and implement corrective actions as required.
• Supervise and mentor inspectors, technicians, and other team members; identify their training needs and organize programs to meet quality standards.
• Establish control plans, work instructions, and provide necessary tools and equipment for new customer or product setup in QA.
• Lead and execute quality improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to quality, environmental, and safety procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the superior.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance tools, methodologies, and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to implement corrective action programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
