Program Manager

Job description

Our client is a global electronics manufacturer that is seeking to hire a Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary communication liaison with customers.
  • Advocate for customer needs and ensure alignment with factory operations.
  • Effectively communicate customer requirements to internal teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams at the operational site and with customers.
  • Collaborate with planning and purchasing teams to ensure order fulfilment.
  • Manage forecasts, purchase orders in ERP systems, and oversee on-time delivery performance.
  • Arrange shipments per customer requirements and provide packing lists and invoices.
  • Analyze changes in customer demand or sales trends weekly and communicate updates.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while performing assigned tasks.
  • Conduct contract reviews and assist with after-sales service.
  • Support Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation.
  • Update management and other stakeholders on project progress and address schedule changes.
  • Assist sales and application teams with complex customer inquiries, including quality concerns.
  • Host customer visits and prepare presentations for site meetings.
  • Foster collaboration with engineering resources and external industry partners.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health policies and participate in workplace programs such as quality audits, safety initiatives, and 5S practices.
  • Quality Management System (QMS) Responsibilities:
    • Support and promote the company's Quality Policy and objectives.
    • Continuously seek performance improvements to enhance QMS effectiveness.
    • Understand the implications of non-conformance with QMS requirements.
    • Familiarize with QMS documentation and its updates.
    • Ensure personal contribution to product and service conformity.
    • Commit to upholding professional conduct and safety standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the electronics industry, with at least 2 years in project management.
  • Prior experience as a project coordinator in the EMS sector.
  • Expertise in defining program scopes, objectives, plans, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Strong project management, business analysis, and sales skills.
  • Proven ability to develop forecasts and address project variances effectively.
  • Strong technical knowledge, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in English (written and oral).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in purchase order (PO) management.
