Production Engineer
Job description
Our client is a MNC manufacturer of construction materials. They are looking for several Production Engineers to join their production facilities across Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet the required standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design, procurement, and quality assurance teams to streamline production processes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including process changes and maintenance logs.
- Training: Provide training and support to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree holder in Engineering or related background.
- Proven experience as a Production Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong Knowledge of production processes, quality control and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently.
