Procurement Manager (Marine/O&G)

Our client is one of the leading companies when it comes to the heavy manufacturing industry. Due to expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join their growing company. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offers solid and dependable support to the management team, focusing particularly on the operations and technical departments to ensure smooth and efficient vessel management.
• The purchasing scope covers vessel and marine parts, maintenance components, tools, and equipment, as well as coordinating with vendors and subcontractors.
• In charge of all procurement activities for marine vessels and the related division within the Group and its associated operations.
• Serve as the primary control point for purchasing, applying strong understanding and technical expertise in marine/vessel sourcing.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 10 years in the relevant industry and field (procurement).
• Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a team of 7 subordinates.
• Willing to travel locally (across states for full vessel coverage).
