Principal Supplier Quality Engineer

Job description

Our client is a global semiconductor company in central Malaysia. They are currently seeing a Principal Supplier Quality Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee supplier collaboration for NPI/NTI to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Quality Improvement: Drive enhancements with underperforming suppliers.
  • Technical Support: Align manufacturing sites with quality objectives.
  • Supplier Audits: Conduct audits to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate supplier quality risks.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering (Material Science preferred).
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of supplier processes, materials, and semiconductor technologies.
  • Skills: Material testing, project management (IPMA/PMA preferred), VDA6.3/IATF auditing, Six Sigma (Black Belt a plus).
  • Attributes: Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Flexibility for travel.
