Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for team improvement.
• Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.
• Oversee the complete production process from raw materials to final product delivery.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor and manage production costs, including labor, materials, and overheads.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
• Drive initiatives for efficiency and waste reduction.
• Stay updated on industry trends to integrate best practices.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for materials and components.
• Ensure timely procurement of quality materials while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
• Assess supplier performance and recommend improvements or changes.
• Supervise production schedules and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Oversee machinery and equipment maintenance programs.
• Quickly identify and address production issues or bottlenecks.
• Manage warehousing operations, including inventory control and storage of finished goods.
• Coordinate with logistics providers for accurate and timely product delivery.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes for efficiency and cost reduction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
• At least 10 years of operations management experience in manufacturing, preferably in the rubber industry.
• Proven track record in managing production and supply chain operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in manufacturing software, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite; Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Principles.
