IT System Analyst (Finance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and propose business process remodel (BPR), aiming to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze existing processes, identify improvement areas, and design optimized workflows.
• Provide critical support for essential business processes such as month-end close and payment processing. Ensure smooth operations and promptly resolve any issues during these key periods.
• Participate in all phases of project implementation, including functional design, technical design, system deployment, unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing. Ensure thorough testing and successful system deployment.
• Apply your knowledge and experience with finance-related systems to support business needs. Offer insights and solutions that align with financial processes and requirements.
• Utilize basic knowledge of SAP applications, particularly in the FICO modules, to support financial operations and reporting.
• Experience with leading finance front-end SaaS platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, and Concur is preferred. Use these tools to enhance financial processes and efficiency.
• Experience with automation technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is preferred. Implement automation solutions to streamline business processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into system specifications. Design and implement IT solutions that align with business goals and improve system performance.
• Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors, to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on project goals.
• Oversee the integration of new systems and technologies into existing infrastructure. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of systems and tools. Develop user manuals and training materials as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as an IT Business Systems Analyst, preferably in the retail industry. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex IT projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies. Experience with ERP systems, CRM software, and data analytics platforms. Strong understanding of system integration and data management.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in leading cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
