Head Data Science & Analytics

Responsibilities:

• Build a strategic, in-house data science capability and lead the delivery of advanced analytics solutions and actionable insights to address business problems and opportunities.
• Enable continuous improvement of data, models, and analytics visualization through enhanced data collection, feature engineering, and the application of new tools and machine learning techniques.
• Oversee the work of data scientists and monitor analytics projects by partners to ensure proper execution of duties, compliance with data privacy and security policies, and alignment with the overall vision of the business.
• Assess the data science and AI maturity of the organization and devise a strategic roadmap for achieving higher levels of maturity by engaging with stakeholders, providing training and development, establishing infrastructure and capabilities, applying AI use cases, and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Provide consultation and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver advanced analytic and machine learning solutions that meet business objectives.
• Proactively manage stakeholders' expectations and establish positive relationships to deliver value effectively.
• Improve and grow team functions by enhancing current processes, skill sets, and technology to ensure best practices are adopted across the team.
• Motivate, mentor, and coach the team to ensure continuous learning and development, enhancing their capabilities and meeting expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Sciences, or related fields.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Hadoop, and BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, and PowerBI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
