About our Client

Our client is a multinational company with a global branding supported by an established management team and a culture that supports personal and professional development.They are looking for Regional Finance Manager / Regional RTR Manager to develop and groom the team for thier expnding business.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that adequate financial management procedures and systems are in place within the Company's Group
  • Managing several teams of audit by countries, managing statutory accountant team, coordinators , coordinating audits with auditors , opco and internal department kExternal Advisor resources for supporting documentation.
  • Meet required KPI for audit documentation turnaround
  • Identify new IFRS changes and provide knowledge sharing on implications and work with External Audit and Opco on identifying impact
  • Work with Group Internal Audit and Controls and Compliance personnel to ensure strong internal controls / governance process exist
  • Prepare Financial reports for quarterly and annual closings and ensure that the accounts are in compliance with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards, relevant acts, and regulations.
  • Responsible for the statutory audit, statutory accounts activities
  • Comply with the financial reporting requirements of the Headquarters (monthly, quarterly and annual reporting according to IFRS, lease, and risk assessment, etc.)
  • Support the implementation of technology enablers to drive process harmonization and support continuous improvement projects.
  • Quality check control on the statutory accounts prior to release to Opco and auditors in accordance to IFRS , FRS, MFRS, MPERS

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Total years of experience should be a minimum of 13 years in accounting & Finance field
  • Candidate from Big 4 background is advantageous
  • Strong technical knowledge in understanding and interpreting financial reporting standards.
  • Degree or Diploma in Finance & Accounting/Commerce or equivalent with professional qualifications e.g.ACCA/CPA/MIA.
  • Good communication skill and able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Candidates from International MNC/SSC with regional exposure will be great
