Finance Manager, Manufacturing based in Sungai Petani

About our client:
This company is a well-known MNC in the manufacturing industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe. They are looking to hire a senior finance professional to be based in thie plant to support the senior management, lead the country's finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders regionally.

Your key responsibilities includes:
* Take charge of cost controling,budgeting, forecasting and stock control.
* Responsible for full set reporting and manufacturing/ plant finance.
* Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance
* Co‐ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements
* Lead projects on process improvement, streamlining and re-engineering
* Manage and guide a lean team towards excellence
* Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax

The ideal candidate should have:
* At least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in scope involving manufacturing finance.
* Exposure in manufacturing industry.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
