Finance Executive - AP (1-Year contract)

About our client:

Our client is a well-known corporation with an established presence in Malaysia, in the industrial products manufacturing industry. They are looking to hire an experienced Finance Executive, who will be responsible for a mix of Project and Accounts Payable matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. This role will be supporting and reporting directly to Head of Finance, based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key Responsibilities:

There would be possibility to converted to permanent employee, depending on performance:

• Assisting in month end and year end closing of the accounts, mainly for the accounts payable and balance sheet accounts.
• Providing financial and period analysis to the management team, in the event of fluctuation or issues in the balance sheet.
• Responsible for balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring that all accounts and transactions are up to date.
• Participate in process improvement as and when necessary.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 1-2 years of financial reporting or accounts payable experience.
• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting, Diploma holders are welcome to apply as well!
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
