Field Application Manager
Job description
Our client is a global semiconductor company in Malacca. Due to rapid expansion, they are now seeking a Field Application Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the company's Field Application Team, ensuring high-quality technical support for Semiconductor products.
- Provide technical and application support to customers for Semiconductor products, addressing their requirements and resolving issues effectively.
- Coordinate and manage all activities related to Semiconductor product applications, including new design development for customers.
- Participate in new product application and design efforts, executing engineering evaluations and product characterizations.
- Serve as a liaison between Marketing teams and customers to address product application concerns.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of optical lab testing and characterization equipment.
- Generate application notes and conduct customer training to enhance understanding of Semiconductor product applications.
- Lead initiatives to address and resolve all product application issues.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree (minimum) or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, with a strong background in automation engineering within semiconductor manufacturing.
- Proven experience in project management is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in coordinating technical projects and working cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and customer teams.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
