Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Job description


My client is a leading manufacturer of industrial chemicals. They are currently seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Engineers to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for chemical process equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical and instrumentation components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical and instrumentation systems to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with process engineers to optimize plant operations and improve system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and update technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
  • Participate in the commissioning and startup of new equipment and systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to plant personnel on electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of plant upgrades and modifications.



Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, preferably in a chemical industrial process plant.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems (e.g., PLC, DCS, SCADA).
  • Proficiency in electrical and instrumentation design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
