Data & Integration Engineer (Oracle Fusion)
Job description
A well established insurance company is currently looking for Oracle Fusion expert to work on collaborating on the technical design and working closely with the Finance GTP Accounting lead to implement the end-to-end integration platform. This platform supports insurance/reinsurance feeds, investment feeds, and the IFRS 17/Consolidation platform, connecting source systems to Oracle Fusion Financials ERP (including AHCS) and facilitating outbound data transfer from Oracle Fusion Financials ERP to the IFRS 17 platform.
Key Requirements:
- Collaborate on the technical design of the integration platform and patterns, and support the build team alongside the Finance GTP Accounting Lead to:
- Ensure the data architecture complies with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and data privacy laws.
- Design and implement data security measures such as encryption, access controls, and audit trails across the Oracle Fusion Financials ERP system.
- Work with Security and Compliance teams to guarantee alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements across SEA for the insurance sector.
- Assist with end-to-end quality assurance, focusing on SIT and NFT, data migration, and integration, as well as Oracle Quarterly Release upgrades.
- Support the definition of test and migration plans, and carry out data migration activities from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion Financials ERP.
- Aid in designing and implementing test cases and data migration strategies, including data mapping, transformations, and validation.
- Partner with integration specialists to ensure smooth data flow and integration between Oracle Fusion Financials modules and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain detailed data integration specifications and documentation.
- Provide both functional and technical support for the Oracle quarterly release upgrades
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Over 7 years of experience in designing and implementing data architectures for complex financial systems, preferably within the Oracle ecosystem.
- Experience with 2-3 full-cycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Financials ERP, including AHCS.
- Strong background in data migration, data quality management, and data governance frameworks.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Willingness to travel as required by the project.
Required Skills
- In-depth expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials ERP modules, including AHCS, and their underlying data structures.
- Experience in data architecture, data engineering, and integration patterns within Financial Services (with a preference for Insurance experience).
- Knowledge of financial accounting concepts and processes, ideally with exposure to IFR
