Critical Operations: Mechanical (Data Centres)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review technical documents throughout the data center lifecycle, offering mechanical expertise to reduce risks and promote continuous improvement.
• Conduct detailed design reviews and manage commissioning for new data centers, modifications, and expansions.
• Improve and standardize operational and maintenance procedures for data centers to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Perform thorough solution reviews and risk assessments for critical change management initiatives.
• Lead audits of data center operations to maintain and enhance operational excellence.
• Offer technical support and expert advice during major incidents.
• Resolve complex technical issues related to data center mechanical equipment and analyze root causes of critical failures.
• Assess the technical service capabilities of critical mechanical equipment suppliers.
• Develop energy-efficient solutions for data center operations and collaborate on energy-saving projects and equipment upgrades.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a senior mechanical engineer in data centers or critical facilities.
• Expertise in troubleshooting mechanical equipment like cooling towers, chillers, fan wall units, CRAH, CRAC, and Maglev Two Phase Cooling systems.
• Knowledge of data center systems and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
