Consultant - Senior Manager (Digital Transformation)

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Build and nurture junior staff and drive high performance in teams, and foster communities of interest around specific skill sets
  • Expand Presence: Drive the growth of our banking and payment services in Malaysia.
  • Project Management: Ensure the successful delivery of complex programs, managing large, cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Client Collaboration: Partner with clients to deliver large-scale digital change initiatives for banking projects with organisation swithin the financial sector.



Skills and Expertise:

Technical:

  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of digital transformation projects within financial services.
  • Experience: Over 8 years with a major global consulting firm. Financial Service experience is preferred. Open to other industry domain.
  • Industry Insight: Extensive knowledge of the financial services value chain, distribution channels, key vendors, solutions, and organizations.
  • SLDC Methodologies: Experience with Waterfall or Agile ways of working is preferred.
  • Application Development: Experience leading application development programs and integrating new applications into existing legacy systems.

Commercial:

  • Sales: Proven track record in developing GTM strategies, creating opportunities, building a pipeline of work, and achieving sales conversions.
  • Leadership: Experience leading and managing internal teams and capability areas with ownership and accountability of P&Ls.
  • Account Management: Successful history of growing relationships and revenues with key clients.
  • Network: Strong network and good reputation within the APAC financial services sector.
