CEO

A leading engineering services firm is looking for a high calibre and visionary CEO to lead, orchestrate and drive the strategic growth and set the overall direction for the company's future success, ensuring operational excellence and fostering innovation across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement high-quality business strategies and plans that align with both short-term and long-term objectives
• Scaling up the business revenue by identifying new market opportunities, optimizing existing revenue streams, and implementing innovative growth strategies
• Lead and motivate subordinates to foster a high-performing managerial team and advance employee engagement
• Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
• Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
• Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company's legality and business ethics
• Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders
• Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
• Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar field of study
• MBA is highly preferred
• Minimum twenty years of project, commercial, strategy and business management experience, preferably within the engineering services industry
• Prior experience within the HVAC industry would be ideal
• Prior experience servicing semiconductor clients would be highly advantageous
• Possess strong business acumen, influential, operations process driven and focused on driving operations excellence
• Proven experience as a CEO or in other senior managerial positions
• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Capable of resolving conflicts, demonstrating visionary leadership, and possessing the foresight to strategically plan for the business's future
