Business Development Manager (Logistics)

Job description

My client is a specialist in supply chain solutions. Their services encompass freight forwarding, warehousing, container haulage, transportation, oil logistics, data management, and distribution

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure profitable new business to meet sales targets.
  • Develop strategic business plans aligned with corporate goals
  • Handle new RFQ requests promptly and ensure follow-through.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Cross-sell services within the existing customer base.
  • Negotiate contracts and coordinate project activities.
  • Collaborate with various departments for effective project management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
  • Demonstrated excellent track records in securing and developing key customer accounts.
  • A strong networker with an established clientele.
