Business Development Manager

Job description

Our client, a prominent beverage player in the FMCG industry is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their expanding team to drive growth and expand their market presence within Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the FMCG sector in Malaysia.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business strategies and execution.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and business development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 - 7 years of experience in sales / business development within the FMCG sector, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia are a plus.
