Assistant Finance Manager (Based in Seremban)

About our client:

Our client is a multinational in the consumer product manufacturing industry, with an established presence in Malaysia. They are looking to hire an experienced Assistant Manager, who will be responsible for full spectrum of finance and costing matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. This role will be supporting and reporting directly to Finance Manager, based in two locations, Seremban & UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the team for the month end closing, financial reports and performance of staffs.
  • Responsible for preparation of product costing, production cost analysis and lead the long term financial planning and strategy.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial results to the management team.
  • Actively participate in controlling of cash flows and working capital scope of the company.
  • Prepare and finalize forecast and budgeting on monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Oversee tax planning and liaise closely with both external auditors and tax consultants.
  • Provide guidance, development and performance reviews for the team members.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant management reporting and costing experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Possess Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, independent and ability to lead the team.
  • Ability to travel to UAE monthly, for 2 weeks.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
