Assistant Finance Manager based in Petaling Jaya

About our client:
This company is a well-known MNC in the logistics industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe that cover close to 20 markets. They are looking to hire a senior finance professional to be based in Petaling Jaya.

Your key responsibilities includes:
* Take charge of full spectrum finance and accounting, budgeting, treasury while reporting to the finance manager.
* Ensure compliance with company's policy and regional standards.
* Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance
* Co‐ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements
*Ensure all updated ST regulations are implemented.
* Manage and guide a lean team towards excellence
* Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax

The ideal candidate should have:
* At least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)
* A minimum of 5 years in audit or full spectrum finance and accounting functions.
* Exposure MNC organisations.
* A proven track record of being a manager/ have leadership experience in managing direct reports.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
