Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for technical resolutions, managing incident, problem, and knowledge management processes for the relevant applications.
  • Provide comprehensive support to internal customers, resolving outstanding problems or issues.
  • Oversee 3rd party product vendors and integration partners to ensure timely and high-quality application code fixes.
  • Develop, test, maintain, and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
  • Collaborate with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code, and perform unit testing.
  • Work with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the overall book of work for problem remediation.
  • Contribute to improvement initiatives related to methods, tools, people, architecture, project management, and governance.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of experience in relevant Banking / Information Technology.
  • Proficient in IBM AS400 platform, RPG, CL programming, and ALDON.
  • Good understanding and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or AGILE methodologies.
  • Well-versed in service management and production support.
  • Knowledge of Silverlake's banking software suite.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar domain; additional professional/technical qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
