Accountant based in Melaka

About our client:

This company is a market leader in manufacturing industry. They are looking to hire an accountant to be based in Melaka to support the finance team.

Your key responsibilities includes:

• End-to-end finance reporting and accounting, including month-endd closin for the entity.
• Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance
• Co‐ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements
• Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax

The ideal candidate should have:

• At least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in scope involving financial reporting and accounting.
• Exposure in Manufacturing industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders (finance and non-finance)
